Following announcements by WFDF, the IFDA is excited at the prospect of sending teams to both the World Junior Ultimate Championships and the Under 23 World Championships 2010.

World Junior Ultimate Championships 2010

Being held in Helibronn, Germany, from August 2nd until 7th 2010, this tournament will feature Open and Womens divisions. Visit www.wjuc2010.de for more details.

All players, male and female, born since January 1st, 1991, are eligible for this competition and are encouraged to contact the squad management at juniors@irishultimate.com.

Additionally, players born since January 1st, 1994, are eligible for the European "Open" Under 17 Ultimate Championships and are also encouraged to contact the management at the address listed above.

These squads will be managed by Séamus Murray, who will provide information regarding trials, squad selections and training in due course.

Under 23 World Championships

Being held in Florence, Italy, in the week ending July 25th 2010, this tournament will feature Open, Womens and Mixed divisions. Projected to be a five or six day tournament, further details will be made available as soon as they are received from WFDF.

All players, male and female, born since January 1st, 1987, are eligible for this competition are encouraged to declare their interest at under23@irishultimate.com.

The IFDA is currently reviewing the management options available for this squad and will provide information on trials, squad selections and training in due course.
