Dublin, Herbert Park, 14:00 (Pick up game)

Herbert Park is situated on the 46A,746,10 and 7 bus routes and is a short walk away from Lansdowne Road Dart Station.

The 46A,746 & 10 buses leave from the City Centre (Mountjoy Sq./Parnell Sq. West) and drive through Donnybrook. The bus journey from the City to Donnybrook usually takes about 10-15mins.

Ask the driver to let you out at Donnbrook Rugby Ground. Take the small road to left of the ground and follow it until the Park is visible on your left with the Dodder River on your right. Continue walking down this path, keeping the park on your left, until you get to a gate into the park. Pick-up takes place on the pitch on your left once you've passed through the gate.

The 7 bus leaves from O'Connell Street and takes about 10mins to get to Ballsbridge. Ask the driver to let you out at the Embassy Grill. This is a fish n chips shop opposite the American Embassy.

Get off the bus and walk away from the city centre (and the Embassy Grill) until you get to the main lights. Cross over the road to Rolys Bistro Restaurant. Keeping the restaurant on your left take a left up Herbert Park Road. The park will be on your left. Go through the gates and bare left. Follow the path around past the pond and bandstand and then around to the right where you'll see the pitch we have pick up on ahead.

From Lansdowne Road Dart Station, come out of the station and turn left. At the next set of lights turn left again and follow this road until (having passed a large Mercedes garage on your left) you find yourself facing Rolys Bistro Restaurant. Then follow above directions.

On the attached map we play in square X 59 , roughly!! :)

Pick-up will be cancelled IF:

-the weather's really bad
-there's a tournament on
-if the news section on this site says so!
