All participants at a club, All-Ireland Championship sanctioned by the IFDA must meet the following criteria:

1. Membership

• 1.1. - Must be an individual (full, student or child) member of either:
  • 1.1.1. - the IFDA; or
  • 1.1.2. - their local governing body where that body has been approved for membership by the IFDA.

2. Citizenship/Residency/History

• 2.1. - Must be currently or formerly a citizen of Ireland; or
• 2.2. - Must have been born on the island of Ireland; or
• 2.3. - Must be currently a full time resident in Ireland for at least the proceeding 6 months; or
• 2.4. - Must have a recent, demonstrable, competitive history with the club they wish to represent
  • 2.4.1. - All cases under 2.4 are subject to approval by the IFDA committee on a case by case basis, no less than 1 month prior to the competition in question. Requests can be made by a team or individual and should be submitted to the IFDA Tournament Coordinator.
