| Number of players | Min 7, no max |
| Number of Discs | 1 between every two players |
| Set Up | A thrower is positioned to one side of the pitch with all the discs. One cone is set up roughly 10m upfield and 20 to 25m towards the opposite side of the pitch for cutters. A second cone is set up for defenders 7 to 10m diagonally closer to the thrower. A marker can be placed between the cutter and defender cones as a cutting target. A final cone is positioned roughly 25 to 30m upfield of the thrower one third of the distance between the cutting cone and the thrower. |
| Iteration | Players alternate between offense (0) and defense (D). When on offense, the player should fake towards the marker and then cut deep being sure not to run past the upfield cone. When the O player cuts, the D player may start. Once the disc is thrown, the O player should attack the disc and attempt to catch it at the highest point of their jump. |
| Notes | When cutting, the receiver should stay between the two cones so as to give the thrower a big target area and so they will be in a position to go towards the disc regardless of it's flight path. At all times, the O player should attempt to keep the D player directly behind them. This allows the O player to control the speed at which both players move toward the disc. The O player will thus be able to attack the disc with their last two strides and jump. The D player will be unable to attack the disc without fouling the O player. |
| Animation | The animation shows both O and D players moving down field. Slight adjustments in line of running can be seen by both players. The D attempts to get around the O player while the O player adjusts to keep them behind them. |
