Weekly Report

Hi All,

This Saturday sees the world-renowned Beer and Rose Bowls taking place. The Beer Bowl is on in Grangegorman and the Rose Bowl in St. Laurence College. TG4 will be filming at one or both of the events, so I expect there to be gratuitous layouts aplenty. There are still a couple of spots left in each of the tournaments, e-mail Mark (markearley@campus.ie) or Ciara (ciarafitz75@hotmail.com) if you're interested.

The IFDA Awards night will take place next Wednesday (6th) from seven o'clock in the Robert Emmett Theatre in Trinity's Arts Block. Come along, you never know, it could be you. Should be a bit of a party afterwards too.

In university news, Trinity are off to UK Open Indoor Nationals in Sheffield this weekend.

Pickup will take place on Sunday at 2.30 in Herbert Park. There weren't quite enough for a game last week, but with a good forecast and the Beer and Rose Bowls the day before, we'd hope to get numbers. Again, contact Eoghan Barry at 087 684 0615 or oldrottenhat@gmail.com to sign up.

Calling all captains of clubs/unis - please check your details on the Irish Ultimate website and let me know if they're up to date. Also, Marko is currently updating the tournaments page, so if anyone knows of any that aren't up yet, please let him know.

Talk to you all soon, enjoy your hopefully ultimate-filled weekends,

David Misstear
