Ireland Juniors for European Youth Ultimate Championships

This summer we are going to organise as many teams as we can to go to Vienna between August 6th and August 8th to represent Ireland at the European Youth Ultimate Championships. The main things we are looking for from players interested are:

* Enthusiasm and an intention to enjoy yourself!
* A willingness to learn and play as part of a team
* Eligibility (details below)

WHAT?
European Youth Ultimate Championships (EYUC)
Date: August 6-8, 2009
Website: http://www.eoefc.at/eyuc/

WHO?
There are 2 divisions for each gender, each divided by age: the Junior division and the Under 17s division. Players looking to play in the Junior division must be born on 01/01/1990 or later, whilst those looking to play in the U-17 division must be born on 01/01/1993 or later.

MANAGEMENT
The Management Team in charge of the coaching, the organisation and the planning of all teams going to Austria is as follows:

Manager: Mark Earley.
Assistant Managers: Seamus Murray, Seamas Kinsella, Sam Mehigan.

Please email us at juniors2009@irishultimate.com for more information.

SELECTION
We will be holding a number of trials to establish who is interested, which divisions we can/want to enter and what type of talent pool we have. Please do not be put off by the standard - we will take as many players as we can. We will email in due course with dates and venues, for now please make sure this information gets to all young players.

Finally, can all captains, coaches, friends and so on make sure that this gets passed on to all eligible players. Junior Ultimate is the future of our sport and its vital that all Junior players are given a chance to try out for these teams.
