IFDA

National Team Administrator

The IFDA is requesting applications for the voluntary position(s) of National Team Administrator(s).

This will be roughly an 18 month position beginning immediately and will include the following responsibilities:

  1. Provide support to captains, coaches and managers of Junior and Under 23 squads for summer 2010 with regard to player registration, team registration, collection of fees, kit orders, booking accommodation and travel arrangements.
  2. Take full control of team registration, player registration, collection of fees, kit orders, booking accommodation and travel arrangements for all national squads for EUC 2011.
  3. Provide training for 2012 National Team Administrator.

Item 1 will be a period of training as the administrator becomes familiar with the type of information to be collected and the responsibilities associated with the position. The individual squad managers, administrators and/or captains for 2010 will retain control over their own squads affairs.

A successful candidate should have experience of team organisation and be comfortable liaising with overseas tournament directors. If you are interested in applying please complete the application form and return it to president@irishultimate.com before 5pm on Friday, March 26th.

Filling this position will greatly reduce the burden previously placed on national team captains. It will enable captains and coaches to focus on best preparing their squads for the upcoming championships and giving Ireland the best possible chance to build on previous successes. If you would like to play a part in aiding Ireland's efforts at EUC 2011, I would encourage you to apply for this position.

Thank you all for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.
